Vast Concepts was born in July 2023 out of frustration—the kind that comes from staring at a disorganized tool bag before a job, or wasting time hunting for the right gear on a jobsite. We knew the tool and storage market was lacking accessories that actually lived up to the daily abuse of professional trades and serious hobbyists.
So we built them ourselves.
Our Story
Before Vast Concepts existed, we were customers buying what the market offered. And what it offered was disappointing. Existing accessories were bulky, overengineered in the wrong ways, and clearly designed by people who prioritized manufacturing cost over real-world usability.
That’s why we launched in July 2023 with a complete lineup of rugged tool storage organizers, mounts, and accessories built for brand-specific tools, construction trades, automotive shops, and everyday professionals. We built accessories designed to be tough, not just to a standard.
By August 2024, we expanded our vision in a major way by releasing our famous PACKOUT ammo inserts and the complete line of RANGER PRO inserts for firearms, magazines, and ammunition. Bringing that same level of precision engineering to tactical and range storage changed everything.
No loose tolerances. No cheap plastics. No guessing whether something will stay put when your truck hits a pothole. Every product we make starts at a workbench—modeled in CAD, prototyped, tested, and refined until the fit is exactly right. That process doesn’t happen overseas. It happens here, in our workshop, in the USA.
In-House 3D Printing with PETG — Not All Plastics Are Equal
We manufacture every product in-house using high-quality PETG filament — a material chosen deliberately over cheaper PLA alternatives. Here's why that matters to you:
